IEPPV “Connecting the Pixels: Work Smarter, Not Harder”

Welcome to our IEPPV website! I'm Jack Bohlka the current IEPPV President.

Whether you are a member of IEPPV or a visitor, we invite you to have a look around. There's lot of great information here! You can easily check out our upcoming events by looking at the Calendar section. Want to contact one of our members? Check the Membership tab. If you are an IEPPV member, you will want to be sure to visit the Forum. This is one of the best resources we offer. Online discussion about all things photographic, and even some off-topic fun! The "InSync", our online newsletter, is just a click away! Our monthly meetings are held on the third Wednesday of the month at the Riverside Art Museum. The museum is located at 3425 Mission Inn Avenue, near the Mission Inn. Our meetings begin at 7:00 PM. We have program speakers, print competitions, roundtable discussions, and even an annual night at the movies, featuring instructional presentations by some of the best in our industry. Feel free to join us for a no-host dinner at Raxx, right across the street from the Museum, at 5:30 PM before our monthly meetings. We invite you to come to our monthly meeting. Visitors are encouraged to attend, as our guest. Our membership is at an all-time high, and we are all about helping each other with our art and our business. So, long-time member or newcomer, welcome! If you have any questions about our website, contact Troy Miller, our Webmaster:webmaster@ieppv.com

If I can help in any way with IEPPV questions, or photography-related issues, just let me know!

IEPPV 411

Wow! What a meeting we had last week! A special thank you to our presenters, Neale Adair, Paul Borman, Frank Peele and Neil Rickman. In case you missed it, we had four studio set-ups and we moved in a round-robin fashion to see how some of our own members handle lighting in their studios. We had demonstrations on seniors, one-light, commercial and families. There were many comments about how great it was, and several people suggested that we make this an annual event.

Not only that, but we welcomed 12 new members! Plus, we had a very large attendance (made even nicer due to the fact that is was August!).

Stay tuned, there are so many other amazing events coming up . . . .

Next month, September 17th, is our final Print Comp of 2008. Start getting your prints ready now!

And then, on October 5th, IEPPV is proudly presenting Tim Meyer who will present an all-day program titled “One Light, Two Lights, Three Lights, More!” For those who know Tim, anytime he speaks, there is lots to learn! If you have never heard Tim, run, don’t walk, to sign up for this program. He will inspire you, educate you, and absolutely make you see light in a new way. More information will be available at our meeting this Wednesday, and you will be receiving an invitation soon. But for now, mark the date!

IEPPV is continually looking for more people to help with our organization. We have about 120 members, one of the largest affiliates in California. As you can imagine, it takes a lot of people to keep our group vital and meeting the needs of our members. Please take a moment to speak to me or one of our Board Members about how you can give back to IEPPV, which offers all of us so much!
Thank you!
