General Meeting

Registration is not required to attend

Join us as we welcome two instructors from f64 Live‘s August 11th event, Carla Bender and Neale Adair. They’ll be sharing the photographs they created during the event as well as how they went about shooting, posing, and editing the final images. You’ll get a chance to learn the step-by-step process by which they visualized, photographed, and edited the images they’ll be sharing.

Meet the Instructors

Carla Bender

Carla is a wife, mother, adventure seeker, photojournalist, and lover of the night sky and abandoned curiosities. She seeks to capture photographs of the awe she sees in our world and hopefully make you feel as if you are with her in the moment she is photographing, or at the very least, create a “you want to be there now” response.

Carla is a hunter-gatherer of natural light and fleeting moments whose escapades with the Riverside Press-Enterprise, The Coloradoan, the Rocky Mountain News, and papers in the DC area, began in the darkroom breathing fixer fumes under orange lights to shooting NBA Finals, raging wildfires, Burning Man and the Pope.

Neale Adair

Born and raised in Southern California, Neale Adair of Adair Photography grew up in his family owned and operated business where they have been specializing in portraits and fine art photography in for over sixty years.

With a passion for painting and ballet, he was accepted to an art school in San Miguel Allende, Mexico as a teenager. From then onward, the theater provided a channel for creative exploration and the opportunity to work and travel throughout Europe, Asia, and the U.S.

Today, Neale incorporates the diverse skills and creativity drawn from his background in painting and theater into his photographs.
