Sign up for a 30-minute one-on-one session with a mentor before our General Meeting! You may use the time to address any concerns\, including but not limited to\, image/portfolio review\, business/marketing advice\, “how do I get my image ready for image competition\,” or simply a Q&A. \nS.P.A. Candidates\nAll S.P.A. candidates will receive a credit of 30 minutes towards their 10-hour mentoring/”assist another photographer” requirement. This credit is limited to two sessions per year. \nInterested in Becoming a Mentor?\nAll mentors who participate in our monthly mentor sessions will earn service merits. Also\, he will provide critiques for your work and answer any questions relating to the business of sports and event photography. \nWhat to Bring\n\nLaptop (optional)\nMemory card with your images for critique\nCard reader\nNote-taking materials\n\n  \nThis class is designed as a follow-up class to the hands-on workshops offered on September 19-21\, however\, anyone interested in sports and event photography is welcome. \n  \n\n  \nMeet the instructor\nDonn Parris is a regular contributor to the sports media — from Minor League Baseball (MiLB) to MaxPreps. His images have appeared in Sports Illustrated Kids (SIKids) and The Athletic via AP Sports. \nHe specializes in portraits\, news\, features and sports for editorial\, corporate\, and advertising clients. By categorizing our events using this method\, we hope to better inform you of what you need to know and how to best prepare so that you can get the most out of your attendance. \nA level 1 event means that the instruction provided will be focused on beginners and intermediates\, so no previous knowledge or experience of the topic is expected. \n  \nPlease Note: Anyone is welcome to attend any class level\, however\, the pace and content may not be at your current skill level.
