DESCRIPTION:Image courtesy of Troy Miller \nThis is a Level 1 event |  Mentorship sessions for IEPPV Premium members will be available prior to the meeting \n Registration: OPENS May 3 @ 6pm / *EXTENDED* CLOSES May 14 @ 5pm\nFollowing our May Image Competition awards ceremony\, we’ll be hosting an on-location portrait shoot complete with models and instruction. \nTo close the evening\, we’ll be holding a panel discussion on the business of portrait photography with the following guests: \n\nTroy Miller of Spicyjello\nNick Seth-Smith\, current president of IEPPV\nDavid LaNeve\, Head Photography Course Instructor of California Center for Digital Arts\n\nWhat to bring\n\nCamera\nSpeedlites\nReflectors\nNo tripods or lightstands\, please!\n\n  \n\n\nRegistration\nDinner will begin at 5:30pm  |  Meeting will begin at 6:30pm \n\n  \n\n  \nAnnouncements for Image Competition\nWe will be announcing and giving awards for the category winners and the best of show winner from the May Image Competition in-person at this general meeting. \n  \n\n  \nWhat does a Level 1 event mean?\nEach of our events lists a recommended level of experience (1-3). By categorizing our events using this method\, we hope to better inform you of what you need to know and how to best prepare so that you can get the most out of your attendance. \nA level 1 event means that the instruction provided will be focused on beginners and intermediates\, so no previous knowledge or experience of the topic is expected. \n  \nPlease Note: Anyone is welcome to attend any class level\, however\, the pace and content may not be at your current skill level. If this is the case\, please expect to attend with the expectation to observe rather than engage. As with all of our educational events\, we will always make every effort to accommodate all attendees regardless of their experience level. \n  \n
