DESCRIPTION:This is a Level 1 event |  Mentorship sessions for IEPPV Premium members will be available prior to the meeting \n No registration required—All are welcome!\nIn our last General Meeting of 2019\, we’re going Back to Basics. \nJoin us for an evening of Q&A with some featured guests to revisit the basics of your equipment\, shooting techniques\, posing\, lighting\, etc. If there’s a burning question that you’ve wanted to ask all year\, now’s your chance! \nBe sure to prepare your questions in advance!  \nNot sure what to ask? Here are a few examples:\n\nWhat is an f-stop? \nHow do I adjust my camera settings for different types of light?\nWhy should I choose\, one\, two\, or three lights for a studio shoot?\nHow can I use shadows to my advantage?\nWhat is aperture priority? When should it be used instead of manual?\nWhat’s the rule of thirds?\n\n  \n\n  \nAnnouncements for Image Competition\nWe will be announcing and giving awards for the category winners and the best of show winner from the November Image Competition in-person at this general meeting. \n  \n\n  \nWhat does a Level 1 event mean?\nEach of our events lists a recommended level of experience (1-3). By categorizing our events using this method\, we hope to better inform you of what you need to know and how to best prepare so that you can get the most out of your attendance. \nA level 1 event means that the instruction provided will be focused on beginners and intermediates\, so no previous knowledge or experience of the topic is expected. \n  \nPlease Note: Anyone is welcome to attend any class level\, however\, the pace and content may not be at your current skill level. If this is the case\, please expect to attend with the expectation to observe rather than engage. As with all of our educational events\, we will always make every effort to accommodate all attendees regardless of their experience level. \n  \n
