SUMMARY:Snow Shooting
DESCRIPTION:Image courtesy of David Swanson  |  This is a Level 1 event \n Registration: OPENS January 10 @ 6am / CLOSES February 8 @ 6am\nCome to beautiful Forest Falls and be prepared for a fun time photographing in the snow. There are plenty of compositions to be had as we hike up to Big Falls and capture breathtaking images. Snow provides a unique opportunity to capture everything from tranquil landscapes to fascinating illustrative macro shots. \nAs IEPPV’s very own 2017 Landscape Photographer of the Year and 2018 Professional Photographer of the Year\, David Swanson is uniquely positioned to lead this workshop and will be available to help answer any questions you may have. Our main goal is to have an awesome time while learning a few more techniques in a frozen world. \nWhat to bring\n\nA 1-day parking pass or a Wilderness pass\nCamera\, cards\, batteries etc.\nTelephoto\, Wide angle and macro lenses\nTripod and cable release\nNeutral density filter(s)\nWarm clothes including a hat\nRubber boots are highly recommended since we will need to cross this river. The water will likely only be ankle deep but …\nWater\, snacks and other stuff for a 1/2 mile hike\nSunscreen and chapstick\n\n  \nWe recommend carpooling in 4-wheel drive vehicles and chains if you have them. \n  \n\n\nRegistration\n\n  \n\n  \nWhat does a Level 1 event mean?\nEach of our events lists a recommended level of experience (1-3). By categorizing our events using this method\, we hope to better inform you of what you need to know and how to best prepare so that you can get the most out of your attendance. \nA level 1 event means that the instruction provided will be focused on beginners and intermediates\, so no previous knowledge or experience of the topic is expected. \n  \nPlease Note: Anyone is welcome to attend any class level\, however\, the pace and content may not be at your current skill level. If this is the case\, please expect to attend with the expectation to observe rather than engage. As with all of our educational events\, we will always make every effort to accommodate all attendees regardless of their experience level. \n  \n
