“The photographer and the photographed”
Photographers often get bogged down and focus too much on lighting and on the “right” modifier instead of focusing on the person in front of them. I sincerely believe that picking up the camera is the last thing the photographer does to create a great portrait that carries real human emotions. I will teach what I know about preparing your shoot ahead of the session to be ready to engage and communicate better with your session from the phrase “welcome to my studio” in order to create better and more authentic portraits with your camera.
Antoine Didienne is a French-American photographer specializing in wedding, family, and fine art portrait photography with a studio located near San Diego, CA. His expertise is in black and white photography, but will also shoot in color for the heck of it. Antoine has also recently turned his years of experience, skills, and insights on photography towards education. He loves to share his humanist approach to photography and his creative process with others.
Being an ex-pat since his late teens, Antoine has always been an observer looking in. He loves people, languages, and culture and is interested in learning from all of them. He applies these same skills and a genuine and enthusiastic curiosity to all of his clients and personal projects to create beautiful and authentic human stories with his camera
