Join us with your camera for this hands-on workshop complete with models, make up artists, and lighting all ready to go. We’ll be shooting in a 4,000 square-foot studio in Santa Ana with our instructor, fine art photographer Hugh Foster, who will go through techniques of lighting, selecting make up looks, and model selection. Snacks and drinks will be supplied.

Meet Our Instructor: Hugh Foster
Hugh Foster — a talented photographer and fine artist based in Orange County — is known for his diverse range of subjects and unique perspectives, capturing elegant and striking images for both commercial and editorial clients. With a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of composition, Hugh is able to create dynamic and thought-provoking images that draw viewers in.
Whether working in a controlled studio setting or out in the wild, Hugh is always conscious of the relationship between his subjects and their surroundings, using this awareness to create powerful and meaningful art. Currently, he is based in his studio in Santa Ana, California, and also shoots in Oregon. He uses Nikon, Leica, drones, and medium format cameras.
